Biotransformation of the tobacco-specific carcinogen 4-(methylnitrosamino)-1-(3-pyridyl)-1-butanone (NNK) in freshly isolated human lung cells

On p. 1811, on the 2nd line under the heading Incubations with NNK and in the second sentence under the heading Measurement of NNK biotransformation, the Greek mu characters have been incorrectly changed to `m'. The correct sentences are printed below.
Immediately following isolation, lung cells were incubated in sterile 24-well Nunclon 
polystyrene multidish plates with 4.2 µM (10 µCi) [5-3H]NNK (>98% purity) in 1 ml RPMI-1640 medium, supplemented with antibiotic-antimycotic (1 ml/l), for 24 h at 37°C under 95% air–5% CO2.
Briefly, 500 µl of filtered (0.45 µm polypropylene, Millipore) incubation medium plus 5 µl of NNK metabolite reference standards (UV markers) were co-injected onto a Waters µBondapak C18 column.
