Gene-environment interaction between an aldehyde dehydrogenais-2 (ALDH2) polymorphism and alcohol consumption for the risk of esophageal cancer

Throughout the article, the cut-off value between heavy alcohol drinking and others was described as 3 gou (equivalent to 75mL ethanol)/day >= 5 times/week. However, correct value should read 2 gou (equivalent to 50 mL ethanol)/day >= 5 times/week.

The authors wish to apologise for this error.
