Suppression of N-nitrosomethylbenzylamine (NMBA)-induced esophageal tumorigenesis in F344 rat by JTE-522, a selective COX-2 inhibitor

The authors wish to apologise for the omission to amend their paper as follows:

Abstract . . . Furthermore, JTE-522 suppressed not only tumor formation but also developing carcinomas (P < 0.0001), should read (P < 0.0021).

Materials and methods, Statistical analysis . . . Comparisons of the incidence of esophageal tumors in rats treated with NMBA or a combination of NMBA and JTE522 were made using the Kruskal–Wallis test, should read Chi square test.

Table II, footnote . . . P < 0.0001 (Kruskal–Wallis test), should read P < 0.0021 (Chi square test).
